Fire Prevention Continues to Be Socialized in Central Jakarta

The Central Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-agency continues to socialize fire prevention to the public intensively.

It is carried out along with the urban village apparatuses, RT and RW caretakers, as well as Dasa Wisma cadres by checking and collecting data into the homes of residents.

"We do this in two RWs for one urban village. Each RW, we check 20 homes," said Central Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-agency Head, Hardisiswan, Thursday (9/19).

Up to now, there are 100 homes listed as fire-prone category in Central Jakarta area.

"We put stickers on them. We do several checks, including the use of electrical installations and gas stove installations," he stated.
